Hi! I'm Cat!

 Hi! I'm Cat. I am, currently, a high school special education teacher at an alternative education school. This is my second year teaching at the high school level. I also have experience teaching special education in middle school, and special day class settings for four years. Prior to teaching, I worked for three years as an inclusion aide for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in kindergarten, first, second, seventh, and eighth grades. I have always seen myself moving up the ladder into an administrative role. For this reason, I have a goal to experience other special education settings of teaching so that my experience is well-rounded. For now, my goal is to receive a master's degree from Concordia University Irvine in order to support a need in writing or modifying a curriculum for my students that will allow students to be engaged and produce creative, quality assignments.
