Formative Assessment
Formative assessment is an ongoing process that provides teacher feedback on student learning. Depending on this feedback, teachers can shift instruction strategies or provide support and review if required for optimal student understanding. Formative assessment can be given through questioning, assignments, and/or observations. Using my TPACK diagram, I created a lesson about the obligations of citizens. I've chosen to ask questions throughout the lesson as a way to provide formative assessment. Below is a link to five questions I've chosen to implement within my lesson.
